INCOMING
Erasmus+ staff (teaching purposes): Lecturer mobility for teaching purposes.
Visiting lecturers, through their stay at a partner HEI, strengthen the European dimension of the host HEI, complement its teaching offer and transfer their expertise to students who do not want to or cannot study abroad.
Therefore, Erasmus+ encourages visiting lectureships at partner HEIs and other Erasmus Charter institutions active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training or youth. This should include the development of joint study programs and the exchange of teaching content and methods.
This is also possible at the Europa-Institut, but depending on capacity. Therefore, we ask you to send an email to erasmus@europainstitut.de in advance to find out about availability early.
Who can be sponsored?
- Professors or lecturers with an employment contract at Saar University
- Lecturers without endowment
- Research assistants
- Lecturers with work contracts
- Emeritus professors and retired lecturers

What is funded and how much is the financial support?

Your guest lectureship may not take place in Germany (unless you are teaching abroad and are invited to a German university) and not in the country of your main residence.
Where can I complete my stay abroad?
The easiest way is to complete your stay abroad at one of our partner universities. However, it is also possible to sign a new contract with a university with which there is no previous cooperation. Please contact the International Office for this.
