Announcement of the Call for the Summer School “Law and Gender”

The Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade, with support from the OSCE Mission to Serbia, is announcing the Call for the Summer School “Law and Gender”. This is the second event of its kind, following the first, which was called the Spring School and was held in May 2023.

The Summer School “Law and Gender” will be held from Monday July 1st to Friday July 5th.

Serbian and international students at the undergraduate, MA, and PhD levels are invited to register for the Spring School. Registration will be open from 12-26 June, 2024. All selected candidates will be notified by 28 June, 2024. Interested participants should register via this LINK, providing a Motivation Letter and a short CV (including education, professional affiliation, and interest in gender equality issues).

The Summer School “Law and Gender” will be conducted in a hybrid format. For online attendance, use this link. 

While in-person participation is limited, there is no restriction on the number of online attendees.

STRUCTURE OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL:

Each student will attend four mandatory courses and choose three optional courses from a list of seven. Each course consists of two lectures. Students interested in taking more than three optional courses will have this reflected in their certificate.

The textbook “Gender Competent Legal Knowledge” from the Springer series’ Gender Perspectives in Law, along with PPPs and other resources, will be provided in advance through the Moodle platform to successfully selected students.
