Big success for the EuroSim 2022 team

From 3rd to 5th January 2022, the largest simulation of European decision-making process "EuroSim" took place. The Europa-Institut participated again successfully with a delegation of 15 master students. This year's host of the conference, which not only aims to improve knowledge about the processes of European legislation, but above all to promote intercultural exchange between European and American students, was the University of Trier.

For the second year in a row, the simulation took place in an online format. As digital avatars, over 100 students from around the world met in a virtual conference center to bring their roles as European decision-makers to life.

The students from the Europa-Institut, who embodied the new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, among others, did so particularly successfully. In three out of four categories, their performance was judged the best by the other participants. The Europa-Institut was thus once again the delegation that received the most votes and won the most prizes.
