This lecture series is organised by the Europa-Kolleg CEUS. In six lectures, renowned guest researchers will address current and historical European issues during the winter semester. The focus of the second edition of this interdisciplinary series is the topic: "Europe's periphery and beyond - perspectives on Europe "from outside".
The next two lectures will take place in December:
- On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, 5-7 p.m., Campus Saarbrücken, Building C7 4, Room 1.17, Prof. Maria Stoicheva (St.-Kliment-Ohridski-Universität Sofia) will give a lecture on "The relative geography of identity formation: the dynamics of periphery and centrality in European integration processes".
- On Thursday, 12 December, 6-8 p.m., Campus Saarbrücken, Building C7 4, Room 1.17, Prof. Anthony Elliott (University of South Australia) will give a lecture on "The Politics of Digital Transformation: Challenges and opportunities for the EU and Australia".
The lecture series can be presented as a course within the framework of the certificate Europaicum.
