European commercial law, with particular emphasis on cartel and state aid law, as well as international trade law (particularly antidumping law) and EU internal market law. Representation before national and European authorities and courts.
Advising companies on cartel and state aid procedures vis-à-vis the European Commission, representation before the EU courts. Assisting manufacturers, exporters and importers in numerous international proceedings concerning trade protectionism, including anti-dumping, absorption and anti-circumvention cases.
Teaching and Lecturing
Honorary Professor at the Europa-Institut Saarbrücken. Regularly conducts seminars and holds lectures on areas of EU law.
