Through numerous events, an international network of alumni is being established which allows for information exchange beyond the duration of the program. Regular meetings between alumni of the program are organized in various European cities to exchange memories and to form new contacts as well as to maintain old ones.
EVER was founded in 1996 by students of the Europa-Institut and incorporated as an association in 2002 (EVER e.V.). The number of members has been increasing continuously over the years: approximately half of the members live in Germany, whilst the other half is based abroad both within and outside of Europe, in countries around the globe. EVER members profit from access to an international network spanning the whole world and this enables alumni to stay in contact with each other and the Europa-Institut after their graduation.
