Nomos Academic Series

The academic series "Schriften des Europa-Instituts der Universität des Saarlandes - Rechtswissenschaft" is published by the NOMOS-Verlag and provides the Europa-Institut with an ideal forum for the publication of speeches prepared for conventions, dissertations and master's theses. It is edited by Pofessor Dr. Werner Meng, Professor Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Georg Ress und Professor Dr. Torsten Stein.

The subject-matter covered by this academic series is wide. Included are monographs on fundamental or topical themes of international law, comparative law, conflict of laws and European civil law topics (mainly commercial and trade law)dissertations on current issues relevant to foreign jurisdictions, and presentations prepared for conventions with a focus on comparative law. Any other connected and pertinent legal areas are also considered (whether they fall under civil law, criminal law or public law).
