In this category you find the training courses offered by the Europa-Institut in cooperation with its partners.

Since 2010, the Europa-Institut organizes in cooperation with the ASKO EUROPA Stiftung, the Europäische Akademie Otzenhausen and the Centre international de formation européenne (Cife) the annual European Summer Course (ESC). The course familiarizes students from all over the world with the different fields of European integration. The ESC is one of different International Study Programs which are taking place throughout the year in the Europäische Akademie Otzenhausen and in some of which the Europa-Institut is involved.

In 2012, the Deutsche Anwaltverein and the Europa-Institut Consult e.V. presented for the first time the „Bonner Praxiskurs Kartellrecht & Compliance - mit Ausblick auf die 8. GWB-Novelle“. The course provides practical know-how and proven techniques for the solution of antitrust law problems to jurists.

In the past, the Europa-Institut offered in line with the program “DeutschLand - Deutsche Sprache in Deutschland" by the foreign ministry and the Goethe-Institut intensive language courses covering relevant political and economic issues, addressing civil servants of the EU institutions and higher ministry officials from different states. Furthermore, the Europa-Institut has been training civil servants of the Higher Civil Service of the Saarland in European law for some years now.

In 2013, the EU-China Summer School which is organized by the Europa-Institut in cooperation with the European Centre of Economic and Financial Law (ECEFIL) and the Centre international de formation européenne (Cife) will take place for the first time. The course is supposed to demonstrate young Europeans and Chinese the legal challenges of the European-Chinese trade relations and give them an insight into the methods of operation of the European Union.
