Der Aufbaustudiengang war von überragender Bedeutung als EU-Beamter in Brüssel. Das damals erworbene Wissen hilft mir bis heute in meiner Arbeit im EU-Ausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages. Durch die Kontakte mit Studierenden aus anderen EU-Ländern habe ich viel über Kultur und Mentalität unserer Nachbarn gelernt. Für unsere gesamte berufliche und politische Karriere war das Studium am Europa-Institut und die anschließende Assistentenzeit bei Professor Ress eine entscheidende Weichenstellung.

Before I came to Europa-Institut, I worked as a young lawyer in a Chinese law firm.
