Encounter Europe - Summer European Academy 2010
The foundation ASKO EUROPA-STIFTUNG, the Centre international de formation européenne (Cife) and the European Academy of Otzenhausen in cooperation with the Europa-Institut (among others) provide students with the opportunity to participate in a series of Summer Academies. The "Summer European Academy 2010" offers over the course of several days a series of seminars, workshops, panels and lectures at the European Academy of Otzenhausen.
The program invites students from all over the world to participate in study programs focusing on "Europe". In the following you will find a selection of the study programs offered:
- European Spring Academy in cooperation with Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan, organised since 2005 at European Academy of Otzenhausen.
- American Spring Academy for German students in cooperation with Texas A&M University, USA and University of Applied Sciences of the Saarland (HTW), Germany, organised since 2004 in Texas, USA.
- Summer European Academy in cooperation with Texas A&M University, USA and University of Applied Sciences of the Saarland (HTW), Germany, organised since 2003 at European Academy of Otzenhausen.
- European Fall Academy in cooperation with the Center for German and European Studies (DESK) at the University of Tokyo, Japan, organised since 2007 at the European Academy of Otzenhausen.
- European Winter Academy in cooperation with University of New England, Australia, Australian National University and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), organised since 2007 at European Academy of Otzenhausen.
- "Prepare for Europe" for students of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in cooperation with Europa-Institut of Saarland University, organised since 2009.
